A website your customers can actually use, for a price you agree first.
I build small business websites that load fast, work on any phone, and can be used by people who cannot use a mouse. Fixed price from £750, quoted before anything starts.
Who you would be dealing with
I’m Adam, and I’m the whole studio.
No account manager, no subcontractor, nobody to hand you on to. I have spent ten years as a software engineer specialising in quality — finding the problems that survive everyone else’s good intentions. Now I build websites for businesses that agencies quote thousands to ignore.
Recent work
Two sites are live — a stage school and a shop, both in south Wales. The write-ups are with those clients for sign-off, so they are not up here yet. Ask and I will walk you through both, with the measurements.
What you get
- It opens straight away, on a phone, on bad signal. No framework means there is nothing to download before your page appears.
- Customers who cannot use a mouse can still buy from you. Around one in five UK adults is disabled, and almost none of them will tell you your booking form is unusable — they will just go elsewhere.
- Nothing goes live that has not been tested. Keyboard, screen reader, 400% zoom, narrow screen, every form, every time.
- Your live site is never the experiment. Every change goes to a private copy first, at a link only you have. You look at it on your own phone, in your own time, and nothing reaches a customer until you say so — so a change you turn out to dislike was never live to begin with.
- It is yours, not rented. Your domain, your hosting account, plain files any developer can pick up if you ever want somebody else to take over.
- The price does not move. Agreed before anything starts, and it only changes if you ask for something that was not in the scope.
After it launches
You get a page showing how your site is actually doing.
Every site on a Looked after plan is checked automatically overnight — that it is still up, that every link and form still works, that the security certificate has not quietly expired. Once a month you get a plain page showing how many people visited, how many got as far as your contact details, and anything I have had to fix.
I run it against this site too, which is how I found a fault on my own contact form before a single enquiry was lost to it. Included with a care plan. It is new — I built it this year and I am not going to claim otherwise.
